Business of the Meeting
- Welcome and Call to Order
- Receipt of 2025 Agenda and 2024 Minutes
- Reports
- Presentation of audited financial statements for the year ended April 30, 2025
- Appointment of the public accountant/auditor for 2026
- Election of Directors
- Presentation of the slate of candidates for election to the Board of Directors
- Motion: “Be it resolved that the slate of directors as presented be elected to the Board of CSAE to serve for the terms indicated.”
- By-law Amendments
- Housekeeping amendments to By-law No. 5:
- Replacement of gendered pronouns (“he/she”) with gender-neutral pronouns (“they/their”);
- Removal of references to the Secretary role (no longer part of CSAE’s officer structure).
- Motion: “Be it resolved that the amendments to By-law No. 5 of the Canadian Society of Association Executives, enacted by the Board on June 20, 2025, to (i) replace gendered pronouns with gender-neutral pronouns, and (ii) remove references to the Secretary role, be and are hereby confirmed by the Members.”

Registration & Materials
Members are asked to register in advance. Meeting materials, including the financial statements, slate of directors, and the text of proposed by-law amendments, will be posted in Associations Connect at least 21 days prior to the meeting.
Voting Information
- Voting is restricted to members in the Executive Member category.
- Members may vote in person (electronically via the meeting platform), by proxy, or by any authorized electronic means consistent with CSAE by-laws and the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act.
- Proxy forms will be included in the AGM package.
