CSAE BC Okanagan Breakfast Roundtable: Legal Open-House for Non-Profits

Thursday, November 21, 2019
07:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Kelowna Yacht Club
1370 Water St
Kelowna, BC V1Y 1J1

This Roundtable breakfast and presentation is designed for those in non-profit organizations to learn, connect and share. We are delighted to welcome Colin Edstrom, Associate Lawyer with Pushor Mitchell, LLP.

Colin will initially address some of the most pressing current legal issues in the non-profit sector, such as a temperature check on the New Societies Act in BC, key recent employment standards changes, and privacy laws.

But primarily this session will be in your hands as it will be an open-house for you to ask Colin your pressing legal questions, issues, challenges, and things you simply don’t get. Colin will aim to shed light from a legal stand-point on subjects from the floor, with the aim to assist all those attending.

The open nature of the session will also encourage input from all participants, and on wider topics if/when they arise.

Come connect, ask and learn!

Enjoy a delicious breakfast sponsored by the Kelowna Yacht Club at the start of the Roundtable. We thank the Kelowna Yacht Club for their support of this event.
