Sylvia Link CAE MC ABC APR is an award-winning accredited, senior executive with experience in non-profit, government, education, child care and health care sectors.
Sylvia is chief administrative officer at RTOERO, a non-profit member organization of 87,000+ education sector workers and retirees across Canada. Previously, Sylvia served as director of marketing, communications and member services with RTOERO.
Prior, Sylvia led stakeholder engagement at the Ontario Ministry of Education and served as manager of communications for one of Canada’s largest school boards.
She has taught marketing and communication at Sheridan College and University of Guelph. She also conducts communication audits for non-profit and education organizations.
Sylvia holds professional accreditations through CSAE, as well as the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and the Public Relations Universal Accreditation Board. In 2015, she received the lifetime professional designation of Master Communicator from IABC Canada. She chairs the international IABC Awards Committee.
She has been published in national and international publications including Vital Speeches of the Day, Education Today and Canadian Government Executive.
